Your system information

  • Steam client version (build number or date): Built Mar 14 2022, 19:49:17
  • Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Debian Sid, using i3wm
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: No
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yes

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Library view has a gray section at the bottom, between the Add A Game/Downloads/Friends and Chat panel and the rest of the window. This also seems to swallow elements in the column to the left, so you are unable to view games that fall under the gray section. This does not happen in Store or Community view.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Open Steam
  2. Go into Library view
  3. Look at the bottom

Update, this seems to have fixed itself, but I don't know what did it. Should I close the issue or leave it open for investigation?

I've been seeing this as well. If I un-check 'Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views...' on the Interface page in Settings, the Library view renders with the gap described. Switching to another tab like Community or Store displays a blank page with a small rectangle on the upper left of the page. Re-sizing or maximizing the window causes the page to render as expected. Switching tabs also helps. The gap on the Library view remains while switching tabs until the window is re-sized.

I just witnessed this a second ago, and it corrected itself on window resize for me.
