Steam client version (build number or date): Current Beta
Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): SteamOS
Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
After playing with Nebuchadnezzar (1157220) for some minutes, the system UI goes completely black (though I can still hear sounds and interact with Steam with the Steam Deck's buttons) probably because the session compositor crashes or something...
System buttons like STEAM or ... don't work as well...
Also, please note that this affects also GNOME and KDE running in Wayland mode (but I have to check again since I tried there a lot of time ago)...
I suspect the game (or the game's framework which seems to be allegro according to the .so files in the bin) makes XWayland (probably) do something funny to the compositor making it crash (which it shouldn't of course).
NOTE: I reported this bug here because AFAIK the compositor SteamOS uses is made by Valve (and probably GNOME / KDE devs don't have access to the game).
