Hello @kotadunes, in general, Steam needs the host system to provide 32 bit glibc and a sane, working 32 bit OpenGL render stack. This message is directly telling you that it couldn't find glibc. Can you give more information about your distro and system?
Had this happen on 2 different installs this weekend. Had to launch steam with
STEAM_RUNTIME=0 steam
So that I could figure out what i386 libraries it required.
The only message I got was "Failed to load steamui.so"
Nothing extracted yet.
So I already fully downloaded steam. But it gives me this message and I dont know anything about coding and have no idea how to solve it.
