Elden Ring remote play is using desktop controller layout instead of the actual controller layout as defined by the game.

This is from a Linux host to an android TV client, but also happens on my android phone, I have not tested it on a Linux client

I can confirm it doesn't happen in all games as Warframe had the correct layout but also had an issue where the game image freezes when it's in fullscreen mode.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Install Arch with KDE on host machine
  2. Install steam to the host and steam link on the client
  3. Be on the same subnet
  4. Have Xbox One Elite Controller connected to android TV via bluetooth
  5. Pair Steam link to the Linux host
  6. Start streaming Elden Ring

In my case the game is still using the right joystick to move the mouse and left to scroll the screen, which does not translate to the controls ingame

Nothing extracted yet.
