Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Whilst trying to open Steam upon the Cinnamon desktop, it will not open. This happens universally to my knowledge

• .DEB (Terminates your login session, from when I last used Linux Mint)
• RPMFusion Repo (Just starts the service and sits there, it wont open up the specific windows nor even the icon on the bottom right.)
• Flatpak (Not Tested)

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Install Cinnamon if you haven't yet
2. Login to your Cinnamon Desktop
3. Launch Steam from your taskbar shortcut or whatever you may have.
4. And depending on what package you may have, it'll log you out or just wont start.

How to navigate around this issue:

1. Open Steam via Terminal
