Your system information

  • Steam client version (build number or date): RPMFusion Repo
  • Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Fedora 36
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes, but this happens outside of the Beta Client
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yes, (however I may not be fully up to date, Fedora updates come out like every other hour lol)

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

The price-tags should use my normal sans-serif font, however it isn't.

My Sans-Serif font is Noto Sans, anyone know why this is happening? Does Steam have limited access to fonts? I think there's an issue with Steam getting confused on what font to use.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Open Steam
  2. Have lots of fonts (I'm pretty sure that maybe part of the issue, anyway)
  3. Go to the store page

This also goes in-hand with this issue, https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/8692#issue-1307920030

If the specified font that Steam requires isn't there, it should fallback to the sans, sans-serif, serif, monospace code tags respectively, however on some distros I guess it breaks.

Not able to recreate this, probably incorrect configured font config, likely obsolete with the new Steam Store anyway.
