Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When opening the general controller settings, the mouse can still be moved with the touch pads, but clicking is no longer possible (neither with the trigger buttons). The system therefore becomes fully unresponsive and can only be recovered by forcing a shutdown by holding the power button for 10+ seconds.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Switch to desktop mode
  2. Click Steam icon in system tray
  3. Click Settings
  4. Click Controller
  5. Click General Controller settings button
  6. Nothing happens, can no longer click

Hello @attaxia, this reads more like a Steam client / Steam Input issue than an issue with SteamOS as a platform, so I've transferred this issue report to the steam-for-linux issue tracker.
