When adding an external program via its .desktop file, Steam should use the icon specified in the file in the library. However the newly added program while not have an icon in the list nor artwork in the library.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Add a game via the "Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library" dialog
Alternatively use "Add to Steam" action on the Steam Deck in the Plasma session
