The numpad enter key doesn't work in the console. It doesn't send anything as it would do with the other enter key.
This is issue was present as well in TF2 and the Steam Client before, and it was fixed.

Looks like the problem is back, at least on Windows.
EDIT: Doesn't work on MOTD either.

EDIT2: Same on Linux.
