Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Every time you switch to the collections panel, it will load some of the game covers inside each collection as part of the collection preview.
While this is a neat feature, the more collections you have, the longer it takes each time to have the covers load in and the laggier it gets when switching into the collections panel (as it doesn't even cache the collection covers for faster loading, meaning it does this every time).
An option to either disable using the game covers of games inside a collection to use as a preview, or at least allowing you to asynchronously load them in so it at least doesn't cause any interface lag would therefore be a nice inclusion for SteamOS.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Have quite a few collections with games inside of them (10+ collections at the very least)
2. Switch over to the collections panel
3. Have to wait up each time up to a second or 2-3 before you can actually properly move around the interface to select a collection.
