Steam client version (build number or date): 1671485780
Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Arch Linux "SeamOS 3.3.3"
Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I am unable to launch the steam desktop client without it automatically launching the gamepad ui interface. None of the steam sub menu items launch into the desktop client either (the Store, Community, Library, etc. options).
I have checked my Steam.dekstop file to see if I am passing any additional arguments and I am not.
Additonally, launching steam through the terminal with steam also causes steam to launch into the gamepad ui
I noticed this particular line which seems relevant: ComputeStartupMode: forcing gamepadui for steamdeck + gamescopesteamwebhelper.sh[424532]: Runtime for steamwebhelper: defaulting to /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_64/steam-runtime-heavy
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Switch to desktop mode
Attempt to open steam
greeted with gamepad ui and inability to launch any games
