Uh ? Now it seems that keyboard settings are saved, but the entire content of the "advanced" menu in the multiplayer tab, disappeared ?
I would recommend you doing a .cfg file placed in /cstrike folder
If you want it to load everytime you start the game call it "userconfig.cfg", otherwise you'll have to type exec .cfg in console at startup.
As a work-around for now, type "writecfg" into the console to force any settings you have changed to be saved.
I think this is a side effect of the locale bugs. Try a complete re-install of CS (make sure to delete everything in SteamApps/common/Half-Life , especially user.scr) and see if you can continue to reproduce it. If you can then please post the contents of your user.scr.

Tested, and it works. The "advanced" menu shows up as expected, and the key bindings are saved.
Now there's a new problem : if i set the forward key to "z", it show in the keybinding menu "z", but, in game, the responsive key is "w". I think is another locale bug ?

The game doesn't save keyboard settings and left/right handed settings.
I need to set things at each start of the game.
