Steam client version (build number or date): 1671501303
Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): OpenSUSE
Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible: Steam Link's video stream drops to 30-ish fps and input lag jumps to 60-ish, although visually I would say fps is around 10-15 and input lag is actually so bad as to completely miss button presses and the stream refresh delaying for several tens of seconds.
I expect the same performance as using Steam Link on Xorg.
I'm invoking steam with the -pipewire-dmabuf and also with just -pipewire flags and results are exactly the same.
Apparently, Desktop Pipewire NV12 screen capture is too unoptimized?
However, you can eventually get to a game an start it and then Desktop Pipewire NV12 stops and is replaced with Game Delayed OpenGL NV12 at 60 fps and a 10-ish ms input lag.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Open steam with -pipewire or -pipewire-dmabuf flag
Confirm screen to share
Open Steam Link on Raspberry Pi/Apple TV/iOS and start a stream
