Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Lately I can't rename my game categories in the Steam client. When I press A-Z it instead jumps to that letter in the game list. I can only rename categories with dots (.) and similar characters.

When I press A to Z letters either nothing happens or it jumps to a game that starts with that letter.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Go to library
  2. Right click on a game collection
  3. Press "rename collection"
  4. Try to enter A-Z character
  5. Nothing happens

Found temporary fix on a Reddit thread:

If you use alphabetical sorting, it navigates to corresponding number/letter game instead of typing into the name field. It is a steam bug.

You can solve this by changing to other sorting type or by switching to other than english keyboard layout and then ctrl+v new name from the notepad."
