I have a HTPC in living room and a gaming PC in my bedroom, I hope that I can play games in HDR in my living room while having good picture quality.
Is there any way to play games in HDR mode via Steam Remote?

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Play games via Steam Remote in HDR mode.

I would like to get s follow up on this ticket given how terrible HDR games currently appear when streamed through Remote Play. Remote Play supports 8K, 120Hz, HEVC, but couldn't bother supporting HDR... I don't quite understand that.

Same request here. Even if it's limited to 4k 60Hz or even 1080p, HDR is more important to me in terms of living room large screen gaming.

I think now with the new Steamdeck having an HDR OLED, this functionality should probably be given higher priority, remote play is great and especially on the deck with being able to play more demanding games from a local PC.

Just flagging that this remains an issue, even though Remote Play nominally supports HDR.

Nothing extracted yet.
