Problem

A window manager return a warning that appear to be related to the ~/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam process because of the 0x2800020 (Steam) message

The next client will be somewhat better at this, but we have some issues with the initial timestamp that we can't easily resolve so it won't be perfect.

I get those errors while not having steam on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

I would also like a fix for the timestamps.
The way it currently is, Steam simply forces itself over any application regardless of the window manager behavior. It should have a correct timestamp so the window manager can do the correct thing (e.g. show a notification that an application wants focus) instead of Steam breaking into whatever the user is currently doing.
