Since Sunday I have great troubles starting the Steam client on my system. Only update pop-up shows for less then a second, but no other window shows up.

I have run a system update once again, rebooted the system and now it starts again.

It's not gone. I closed the terminal and tried to start it again with dmenu and now it fails to start in the exactly the same way I described.

The reproduction seem nondeterministic.

I have opted out of beta client. Now it is stable.
I really like the new UI, so if you want me to check something, please let me know and I can switch back to beta.
