Can't add favorite server in Half Life (Beta) and Counter Strike (Beta)

1.Select server from list.
2.Right mouse button click.
3.Select "Add to favorite"
4.Nothing happens. Server does not added to favorite servers list.

Have you made sure you haven't set any filters in the favorites tab?
I just tried adding a server with the same procedure as you, and it works as intended - the favorite is remembered if HL/CS is closed sanely.
If a server is added to favorites and you use the console /quit command, it won't save (this is similar behavior as on Windows)
Also, adding favorite by IP seems to work for me.

Tried launching steam in a terminal, and see if you get any output when trying to add a favorite?

As you can see there is no server with name ".:REC:.tm|SAMARA" at favorites list.

I'll be damned.

I tried adding a server today, and now I'm experiencing the same thing as you.
I also tried deleting the ServerBrowser.vdf's and add servers again.
I cannot remove nor add servers now.

I have to add that I tried adding a server with a name similar to yours (starting with .:) - this might be why?
