Your system information

  • Steam client version (build number or date): 2023-05-30 beta
  • Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Gentoo
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yes

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When starting Steam, I can observe the error pasted at the end. Maybe this explains why some pages (like Store, Profile etc) render as a blank page for me, or are functionally incomplete (some buttons do not work).

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Start the client
  2. Watch cef_log.txt

BTW, it works, if I run with -no-cef-sandbox. So it's probably an incompatibility with glibc and similar to #11050

Nothing extracted yet.
