I have two requests for the cycle commands feature in Steam Input:
The ability for two buttons to share one cycle commands list, with one being designated to move forward in the list while the other moves backwards.
This would be similar to the trackpad / stick scroll wheel feature but using independent buttons.
The option for other buttons to change the current state of the cycle commands list when pressed.
As an example:
A game has items mapped to the keyboard 1-9, but does not use the mouse scroll wheel to move through them. They could instead be mapped to the left and right bumpers in a linked cycle list.
Hitting right bumper three times would fire the commands for 1, 2 then 3. Left bumper once would go back to 2.
The A button is also designated as an additional modifier for the cycle command list. When pressed, it still fires its own command, but the cycle commands also revert the list back to it's default state when pressed. So right bumper would again fire the command for 1 first.
Hello,

Hope this makes sense, thanks!
