Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

The previous version of the Steam Client used to remember the position of the windows and dialogs. Now it always puts every window at 0,0 instead of where I put them the last time I ran Steam. I'm running a 3 monitor setup and the primary display is not at 0,0.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Launch Steam
  2. Move the windows to another monitor
  3. Restart Steam

Probably related problem with window positioning.

I can always reproduce with KDE Plasma 5.27.10.

1- Maximize steam.
2- Minimize by clicking on the task bar.
3- Restore by clicking on the task bar.

-- Steam should be back at maximized but ,loses maximized status instead.

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Closing and re-opening steam window causes steam window to open with incorrect position. First launch remembers position.
i have my window positioned on the right half of my monitor (placed with win+>). upon closing and re-opening the steam window it opens as a small floating window also attached to the right half of the screen. it doesn't extend to top/bottom of the screen but is aligned to the right edge.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Open steam
  2. Close steam window (steam process still running and shown on system tray)
  3. Open steam from dock/task bar
  4. observe steam window with incorrect position/geometry
