I have a gaming laptop, with an intel iGPU and an Nvidia dGPU. Steam's shader caching system pre-warms shaders for the iGPU, making me have to wait for the shaders to compile separately for the dGPU when I launch the game. One work around is to launch steam on the dGPU, but that is wasteful of power since the rest of the system is run on the iGPU.
