When I tried to log on today a message came up from steam guard saying I need to verify this computer(even though I have logged in before). However it left out my email address, and I did not receive an email to verify.

A screenshot of my email, my email address has been covered up. You can see that there is an old email(Jan 10) which contained the verification code I used previously.

It seems like it is not recognizing me or my computer and some information is missing. I can't access the computer specs page since I can't log in.

That dialog shouldn’t list your email, it sends a message to the steam servers to send your account’s email a message. If you fail to get an email in a reasonable time (an hour), you should select the ‘What email message?’ option and continue the wizard

When you select the "What email message?" button, do you get any issues or errors? Does it send the email?

It does not send the email. Also I have verified with steam guard before(the second picture) and then it did send the email.

Try logging to Steam Community site. Do you get the Steam Guard email? If you do, copy the code to Steam, it should work that way as well. I used to have a similar problem, but on Windows.

@T-Ruth, did things work on the web? If anybody is still seeing this, can you send me a Steam message to 'frdrewb' so I know your Steam account name?

Sorry, false alarm. I forgot there is an extra spam filter from my email service. It ate all the steam emails, and sent me an email a few hours ago about all the emails it had been eating.
I can now get the steam guard emails, and have been able to verify.

Nothing extracted yet.
