Hello @queenalienbot, there's a video driver regression with these symptoms from the driver's on-disk shader cache being broken. The workaround to this issue is either to downgrade to an older driver series until the video driver bug is resolved or manually purge NVIDIA's on-disk shader cache (https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/9780#issuecomment-1638508672 as an example).
This is already being tracked in various issue reports (https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+535). Closing as a duplicate.

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible: So I Updated my nvidia drivers 535.54.03-6 and since I updated this I cannot open Steam it sometimes opens randomly and it works randomly but it won't open whenever I want to I tried new kernels downgrading my nvidia drivers but manjaro won't let me and I lost all hope I contacted Steam Support no luck, asked reddit they sorta helped me and it worked for 1 day and now it won't work tried using nvidia open source no luck tried opening steam with the terminal no luck in fact steam says " Its working fine" and now idk what to do please valve make support for the pacman package manager so we won't have these issues instead of using debian please steam for linux community you are my final hope my specs will be on this post and yes tried big picture mode no luck as well.
Steps for reproducing this issue: I believe updating the nvidia drivers should have this issue that's where it all started for me
