Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

While configuring buttons inside Steam Deck gaming mode "Add Action Set Layer" command under "Action Sets" section has two additional options:

  • Display name when changed
  • Beep when changed

Although "Beep when changed" option works as intended, the name of the action set layer is not displayed even if relevant setting is enabled.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Create action set layer under "Default".
  2. Set any button in "Default" to "Add Action Set Layer".
  3. While configuring set command set command to "Add Action Set Layer" and enable "Display name when changed".
  4. After that, when using said button, Layer name will not be displayed.

Also I've noticed, that unchecking this toggle returns to checked state after reopening settings. So not only the feature not functional, but the ui is buggy as well

Toogle on beep configuration is ok and working but not for displaying.

"Beep when changed" works properly, yet "Display name when changed" does not provide an in-game notification.

Does anybody know if the SteamOS beta resolves this issue?
