Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I added third party game to my steam library and after client restart I noticed that it is crashing on "Loading user data..." step. I tried to run Steam client from command line with gdb debugging enabled and here is the output Github Gist. Due to this issue I can't boot into Gaming mode at all.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

I don't know how to reproduce it. It happened randomly after I added third party game and restarted the client.

Hello!
I had a similar problem. I was able to fix it by disabling hardware rendering of the graphical shell. You need to log out, then when logging in before entering the password, click on the icon with the shell symbol, then select "software rendering" or something like that (in my case, this is cinnamon).

Nothing extracted yet.
