  • Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Ubuntu 23.04 x64
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: Yea
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yea, fetched some minor Gnome extension updates this morning. Or so it looks.
  • Steam Logs: steam-logs.tar.gz
  • GPU: AMD

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I was listening to some Finntroll in VLC while uninstalling Steam version of Tabletop Simulator, Borderlands Enhanced GOTY and... something else (I forgot, there were up to six games total in both install and uninstall queue) through Steam.
I had System Monitor opened, with processes filtered to show only those which are mentioning Steam.
I've spotted wget with following Command Line content, tried to make a screenshot of it - and the image on BOTH displays froze.

Somehow, music kept playing, for quite a long time - despite being lossless thus only partially cached. So I assume that everything unrelated to rendering kept working.
For the truth's sake, neither path mentioned in that command line was present on my HDD after reboot.
So either crash dump was sent successfully - or never existed in the first place.

Nothing extracted yet.
