Describe what you expected should happen and what did happen.
No content loads from store in the external browser that is launched, its the steamos built in browse

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Login
  2. Open Lotro store on charater creation screen or in game with big gold coin
  3. watch content not load fully
    steam-212500.log

Hello @james2432, in general, issues with games run with Proton are tracked in the Proton issue tracker.

This is an issue with Proton running this particular game, not an issue with SteamOS as a platform. You're previous feedback at https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1816#issuecomment-1663993331 is the right place to ponder that issue.

@kisak-valve I was opening it here because it's the steamOS internal browser so yes it's in game, but the issue is the browser doesn't load content

Thanks for clarifying. Yes, it looks like I had a knee-jerk reaction here, but that makes this issue a Steam client issue with its web component. Again, not an issue with SteamOS as a Platform. So, I've transferred this issue report to the steam-for-linux issue tracker for Steam developer to ponder.
