On Aug 4 2023 when I launched Steam it simply consumed all RAM and used most CPU cores. This is it. I have not done any changes to my system or Steam. I tried restarting my PC and launching Steam again, but this didn't help. Steam consumes all RAM over a period of 10 - 15 seconds.
