For the record, that first staging commit is essentially an update to a staging patch brought into Proton a few months ago: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/wine/commit/d4084e9df45599b28a9d414423986f96770a1349
Closing this as the two mainline fixes were brought in, and an equivalent to the staging was introduced.

@kisak-valve please consider importing the following to the VALVe WINE tree:
These three fixes (two into upstream and one staging patch) fix WINE behaviours to run things close enough to Windows to satisfy very specific anti-cheat implementations.
This would help two games already published on Steam, one of which with a partially functional SteamOS allowlist; this would that specific game to run on more, if not all, Steam Deck devices.
For the sake of not getting this repository into any news cycle, I won't mention them in this ticket; I'll attempt to communicate them otherwise.
