Does it only happen with DXVK? Does it look fine if you remove DXVK?

I tried to play without DXVK, but the game crashed while the family was settling in.

Instead of copying the apitrace dll file, can you try apitrace.exe trace -m Sims2EP9.exe with dxvk?

I think I've seen a visual issue like this before and it too happened on PCs with Intel graphics, on Windows.

@mrdeathjr28 do you by any chance dualboot Windows? I saw you have a machine with UHD graphics so it would be nice if you tested Sims 2 with Intel graphics on Windows
