Please describe your issue as accurately as possible.
When launching the game, it initially will get you to the main menu. As soon as the game begins and starts rendering, it hangs indefinitely.

  • When using Proton, set the Steam launch options for your game to PROTON_LOG=1 %command% and attach the corresponding steam-xxxxx.log file in your home directory.
  • When using regular Wine, use wine game.exe > game.log 2>&1 and attach the resulting game.log file.

Assuming you have already read https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/wiki/Windows this is likely just a driver issue.
On Linux with my AMD GPU i don't have any issues in the game even if i spoof a Intel GPU. I can also see on ProtonDB that at least one Intel Arc user have played it in the past.

I think you may be right. If I use an eGPU and point it at the Nvidia card, it works. Thanks for the insight!
