Why exactly are you using a 5 year old OS version? Just upgrade to 25.10 and it'll work fine.

Releases that raise the driver versions mention it and refer to the driver support wiki page for details. (See 2.7 for example)

What happend?
It took me far to long to figure out that the latest version 2.7.1 is not compatibel with my system(OS). Furthemore then to get which version I have to install?

But it does not help. RX 6700XT does support Vulkan 1.3, what do I care about the legacy entry about Vulkan 1.1?
The error message in the terminal was also not helpful. Mentioning not compatibel to 'maintenance5', while saying the graphic card is not compatibel (instead of "driver version not capable").
I also thought first and checked did I choose the wrong AMD driver Source? Not helpful that there are so many repositorys for it and different drivers. Side note, I got it right RADV is the mesa-amdgpu driver? (And now backed by AMD?)

How to do better, improve?
My first thought: To every release note, a line 'minimum required driver version: .........'
Second: Keep in the driver-support page a table stating the last compatible dxvk version when the necessary driver version is raised.

One look onto that from the people and they are good to go whatever system they are running.
Add into 'how to use' a hint to check your driver version to dxvk version compatibility.
Is not enough nor helpful when the error message implies 'your system is not able to', while not true.

DXVK does run absolutely fine after I used the latest numbered version available in my winetricks, under DLLs to install. In this case 1.7.3 and I am guessing 1.10 is the latest compatible to mesa-amdgpu 21.3 driver.
