I can tell you on first glance that dxvk.org has nothing to do with this repository and is 99.9% AI slop.
Not official
As others said, it's some AI-generated garbage, it has nothing to do with us. I don't really know what to do about it though, ideally this shit would get taken down in one way or another, but it's not like we have the power to enforce that. For now I'll just pin this thread for awareness.
Please do not interact with it. It was obviously created in bad faith and may or may not start distributing actual malware in our name at any time.
Thank you all for your grave concern on this topic. This issue was more of a self-evident question, but your confirmation is of course the most important.
Psychz Networks is AS40676. IANAL but you can report abuse and see what happens. Beware that the AS is not reputable.
They don't have anything DMCA related but you can try [email protected] to see how it is.
You can also try contacting RIPE/the domain registrar themselves.
Nothing extracted yet.
I stumbled upon
dxvk.organd was wondering if this is an official representative website of this project, since it tries to be like such. The entity behind it introduce themselves as "DXVK Hub" at
https://dxvk.org/privacy-policy/The source code download linked to their "Get Started" button is hosted on their website at
https://dxvk.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Version-2.7.1-source-code.zip, as opposed to linking to GitHub.File hashes for reference:
I have archived the files themselves for later analysis if required, but I don't think there's a need to attach them here. The hash should suffice. The root tarballs do not match with source code provided by GitHub at
https://codeload.github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/zip/refs/tags/v2.7.1If this isn't official we should add a disclaimer somewhere.
