Game used to work fine on my steam deck but with recent proton 10 updates, it started crashing when you get into a match, managed to narrow it down to dxvk using wined3d and testing on my framework. Just launch the game, go to training, pick anything and it should crash once the match starts immediately. Also believe the game needs a 60 fps cap cause its one of those "Run as fast as the monitor allows" kinda games

Software information

Umineko Golden Fantasia, below are the settings I used when it crashes, it does not crash with wined3d or on windows without dxvk

Log files

Please attach Proton or Wine logs as a text file:

  • When using Proton, set the Steam launch options for your game to PROTON_LOG=1 %command% and attach the corresponding steam-xxxxx.log file in your home directory.
  • When using regular Wine, use wine game.exe > game.log 2>&1 and attach the resulting game.log file.
  • On Windows, log files will usually appear next to the games exe or in its base folder.

Thank you for the issue.

The apitrace doesn't reproduce the crash but via ingame it has been bisected to https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/commit/84ccad3528206a8103520361526f16dd6cb3e6ef
