Tomb Raider 2013 gets artefacting on Lara's face when using Tessellation. Black lines, dots, and dark smudges. Screenshots were taken in the built in Benchmark.

Tested both with GE-Proton10-34 and Proton-CachyOS 11.0-20260429. The logs are made with GE Proton, since CachyOS crashed if Logging was enabled.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiigh.

Not seeing any issue on your screenshot at all nvm, it's just extremely hard to spot. This is just gonna be Z fighting due to different shaders being used in the depth pre-pass and main render pass, which is a known issue in all Tomb Raider games and really something that should not work even on Windows.

No idea what we can even do about that at this point. It's just impossible to fix "properly" because the game is literally telling us to compute things differently, and I know for a fact that Nvidia used to have a driver-side workaround for the exact same issue in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Edit: Not seeing any issue with the integrated benchmark on my 4070.

Yeah can't do much here right now. As mentioned, I can't even reproduce the problem on my Nvidia card.
