It would be good to know if Steam is showing a first-time setup window with Steam configured to use Proton 7.0-6 with the game, but not when configured to use Proton Experimental (with no pre-existing wineprefixes in both cases).

    @ipr you left several questions unanswered. That said proton 11 made no difference in my experience, and I've yet to notice any audio issues with persona 4.
