Thought I'd drop a mention that Batocera butterfly build from 20260629 makes MDK2HD work properly. Has to be used in conjunction with Wine 9.22, but it works.
To my knowledge, this is due to the AMD GPU. I have run this on Windows and Linux and it works with Nvidia GPUs but not AMD GPUs. Have not found a fix yet.
