Had the same issue, and using `-dx11` got me up to the Act 5 cutscene. Right around "Take this as my final warning: if anything happens to me your friend will be a distant memory" being said the game video freezes, locks...
I got it working! I just had to add the `-dx11` launch option. Ironically, I figured this out from trying to get the game working in the Heroic launcher with the copy I bought from Epic.
