Symptoms
Some audio completely cuts out (music and dialogue) after ~5–10 minutes of gameplay or immediately after triggering a fast travel loading screen. The ambient SFX keep working all the time.
Rendering: The 3D graphics pipeline continues running smoothly after the audio loss.
VRAM Behavior: Monitored via Mission Center / MangoHud. VRAM usage remains completely stable at ~6.0 – 7.3 GB out of 12 GB. This is not a VRAM saturation issue.
Crash Trigger: Opening the pause menu or inventory after the audio stream dies causes an instant crash to desktop (deadlock on the XAudio2 thread).
Failed Workarounds: Lowering textures to Medium, capping frame rate (45/60 FPS), forcing
