Tried with 396.54 now and it works! In fact it works better than what I tried before, now I can actually play :+1:

Previously I started playing this game with PlayOnLinux and got stuck at the first boss fight, the game would glitch freeze and crash before I'd make it through.

I just tried this with NVidia driver 390.87 and it Just Works, on Debian testing (buster). The game received an update before launching this time, may that update have fixed this bug for older drivers? I don't see in any changelog that 390.87 introduced any changes related to DXVK.
