Symptoms:

After attempting to boot any game produced by EA I am sent into the game successfully, however the EA launcher app fails to connect to the EA severs. I am able to see this by pressing F1+Shift on my keyboard. Despite this issue I am able to connect in game and play online but, I am unable to connect to groups with my EA friends. This is true for every EA game that I purchased through Steam.

I have not found a way to recreate this issue nor a way to fix it.
