I definitely played after that update as that's what made me buy it. According to steam my first play was the 20th and I played again on the 21st with no issues. I've only tested down to version 8 as that is the one that worked. In all I've tried version 8/9/10/hotfix/experimental/GE and the cachyos version.
@bgish3 certainly odd, dualsense is working on my end on proton 9-through experimental (including bleeding edge). Tested wired and over bluetooth, though developers only support it properly over usb, so if you use it with bluetooth you'll get xbox glyphs.
Just in case, and given that it was working before on your end, have you tried if rebooting changes things on your end.

Very weird. I have tried rebooting and even reinstalling the game. I'm using it wired so it's definitely not a bluetooth thing and the same cable is working with my Vader 4 controller so it isn't a cable thing either. It would make more sense if it didn't work in every single other game that I have.
@bgish3 and weirder yet that it was working for you originally. Have you tried with a clean prefix? and what firmware version are you on? when you connect the controlled it should be listed in your dmesg log (sudo dmesg in your terminal) alongside its firmware version, in my case I'm on fw_version=0x0110002a, the update that allowed for multi device pairing
@simifor Yeah I have tried clean prefixes already. FW is fw_version=0x0100008b
@bgish3 just out of curiosity, if you switch from proton 8 to newer are there any changes? prefixes should be remade when going from a version of proton to a lower one, but the opposite should only update it. So a clean 9 prefix might behave differently from a proton 9 prefix that was original proton 8
@simifor I deleted the compatdata folder (prefix) before testing with each version and just tried it again to be sure I wasn't crazy.
@bgish3 I actually meant the opposite. Creating the prefix with proton 8, then switching to 9 and see if it works or not
@simifor I'm actually not sure but I did just try that and it also didn't work. I deleted loaded up with proton 8 confirmed the controller worked then ran it under experimental, the cachyos version, and GE with no luck.
@bgish3 Does this work with Proton 11? We made some controller changes which may have allowed this to start working for you again on newer Proton versions. I would appreciate it if you could check.

I haven't tried in a bit but yes I can confirm that it's working now with at least experimental and the latest cachyos version.
