Symptoms

Game crashes intermittently 1-60 minutes into gameplay. Log shows err:service:device_notify_proc failed to get event, error 1726 followed by RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE. Same error appears harmlessly at clean shutdown, but during gameplay it's fatal. Inconsistent — same Proton version can run 47+ minutes clean or crash within 60 seconds.

Actively play for anywhere between 15-60 minutes.
