I filed #9853 for an unrelated issue

in one of the training modes , there should be some sort of overlay with... something in it; renders as a gray rectangle with a grid / tile texture:
Rest of game seems fine otherwise. Tried DX11 and DX12, no change.
@fenugrec was confused by this as I couldn't find the option at all, turns out it's under tutorial and not training 😄. Having said that I checked the game on window and both offense and defense tutorial show the gray rectangle, but even there the rectangle showed nothing, so as odd as it is, it's either intentional or bugged out everywhere.

Oops sorry ! I've now corrected the original ticket but cannot do the same in here.
Thanks for verifying; I doubt that's intentional, as some explanations just... don't make sense without some kind of visual support. If it's an upstream bug I'm not sure how to report that.
Frequent issue, not sure of the trigger. Sometimes starting the same game (rivals of aether 2) with always the same controller, button mappings are changed (A/B, X/Y swapped, because nintendo), and if I try to modify this games controller layout, I get this odd behaviour (video screen capture)
steam_remap1.mkv.zip
(sorry about the weird quality, I had something setup wrong in OBS).
I'm trying to use 'Listen' to change assignment for the A function. As you can see, I try entering B, X, or Y, and they're all ignored and the mapping remains unchanged...
Top window is SDL testcontroller showing that there's nothing wrong with the hardware and at least part of the software stack.
