Steam overlay crashes when trying to access Github from web browser

When I enter github.com into address bar of web browser in Steam in-game overlay and press Enter, it loads a bit, redirects me to https://github.com and then Steam overlay disappears and I can't return it back. It happens every time when I try to do this. I did it a bunch of times and when I looked at "System Information" window, it had these lines:

This is crashing deep inside of the WebKit code that Steam hosts to render web content. It will take a while to figure out.
