Installing and starting The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with Steam Play does not provide an FPS cap. This can cause issues in the game if the game is above 60 FPS (this is likely due to the game code and not a compatibility layer issue).

Solution: Add the following launch parameter for the game:

DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 %command%

It is recommended for Valve to add the command automatically if the game is installed with Steam Play.

Hello again @game123-support, to re-iterate, we're tracking issues with games run with Proton in the Proton issue tracker. Also, we're using one issue report per unofficially supported game title, so I've gone ahead and transferred this issue report to https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/460#issuecomment-2845378948.
