I got the same issue on CachyOs, in the native client and in flatpak. Tried stable an beta branch in both, no luck. I’m on Gnome.

Yeah, adding myself to the list. Im going through this right now on 6.19.10-1-cachyos.
It took about 3 to 5 minutes after i launched steam to start registering clicks.
I also have this on bazzite. Hope it gets fixed sooner than later.
Gentoo + GNOME + Wayland. Have been experiencing the same issue for months. Is everyone who is experiencing this issue using an Nvidia card?

I'm having the same issue on Steam Deck OLED (Stable SteamOS 3.7.25) branch. Happens with built-in controller, usb mouse, 2.4Ghz mouse and bluetooth mouse.

Issue
Most left and right clicks aren't registering. This doesn't happen in big picture mode.
This happens on almost every button and menu in the steam client.
For example, when I try to uninstall a game, I right click 5 - 10 times on the game for this menu to appear
Then when I click on "Uninstall", the menu dissapears, but it doesn't do anything. That means that it received the left click input, but it just didn't do anything
You can't see it in the video, but the reason I'm hovering for so long over the game's title is that I'm clicking frantically trying to get it to do something
