I launch Steam. Everything's fine.
I start using it. Everything's fine.
The moment I click any input field and try to type anything, Steam
hangs for undetermined amount of time. Regardless of if it was
necessary to do anything (I had spellcheck as a suspect).
The funniest part is, it ceased to happen for awhile this Autumn then
started reappearing in Beta.
Then, December 2025 Steam update happened and all Beta bugs went
Release. A+ development, yea.
Today I've accidentally caught a glimpse of what potentially causing
it.
This specific process.
It appears in the processes list when Steam hangs.
Once it disappears, Steam starts behaving again.
Now, default Ubuntu's process manager doesn't allow copying all that
stuff (or I wasn't quick enough).
I can only assume that this... thing spawning and hanging my system to
almost complete halt is

GitHub, apparently, have failed to implement another feature.
Anyway, why am I here in such weird condition.
You know what I am and what I use.
Except Ubuntu 25.10 this time. Canonical made a decent update. Unlike
guess-who.

This... thing is disturbing me (and potentially fellow players, see
