When trying to install ARK: Survival Evolved, steam automatically chooses the broken and outdated linux version instead of the working windows version unless a specific compatibility layer is forced. This results in a broken installation that can't launch and the problem isn't apparent since the game versions and betas tab still shows the windows version being selected

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Open the steam client
2. Search for ARK: Survival Evolved
3. Press the install button
